Atari have announced that a new addition to the beloved RollerCoaster Tycoon series is in development, and is due to come to PC in early 2015.
RollarCoaster Tycoon World will include both fan-favourite and brand new content, with an innovative track builder, more rides than ever before, and a multiplayer mode to complement the single player experience. With new technology allowing the series to take leaps and bounds in terms of gameplay, Atari CEO, Fred Chesnais, is promising that RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be the best entry of the series yet, explaining “many of the new features in RollerCoaster Tycoon World were not possible a few years ago, but we have taken advantage of technological improvements to offer a wildly fun gaming experience that stays true to the storied franchise. This is the game fans have been asking for.”
RollerCoaster Tycoon World will feature all the usual simulation aspects that you need from an amusement park game. From different rides and attractions, to managing stores, to the destructive rollarcoasters themselves, there is plenty for fans to sink their teeth into. It will also be a ‘full, premium PC experience,’ in a strictly no micro-transaction zone, so hats off for Atari for giving the players what they want.
