Who wouldn’t want to see The World Tournament Champion join the fray? While Earth’s Champion himself may not fit in too well with the intense combat found in Fighterz, we would still love to see him as an option. He’s debuted in previous entries in the series and has always played very much as a joke character, so there’s a chance that the developers could find a way to make him work into the game. If implemented correctly, it would be an absolute blast to see Hercule jet-packing around the stage.

Let’s be honest… You knew this one was going to be on the list. Ever since his debut in the Legendary Super Saiyan movie, Broly has been a major fan-favorite and an insanely awesome character in the game adaptations. With Dragon Ball Fighterz beautiful artwork and fierce combat, it’s hard to imagine Broly not joining in. Broly’s speed and strength would transfer greatly into the new fighting style, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll be seeing him soon.

This one may be a little less likely due to the inclusion of Kid Buu and Fat Buu already, but Super Buu still has a LOT of fans out there. While he would normally sport a similar moveset to the other Buu’s, his absorption could really help make him unique. If Super Buu was added in and had a mixture of the moveset from one of the characters he has absorbed, it could make for a really cool combination of character types. And besides, Goku already has a handful of different forms appearing as different characters, so maybe this isn’t too far-fetched.

Okay, maybe this one is a stretch now that GT is essentially erased from the canon. But whether or not you were a fan of the series, it’s hard to deny that Baby made for a really interesting villain. Not only was Baby Vegeta his most iconic form, he just flat out is the coolest and has a fantastic design. And seeing a Revenge Death Ball fly across the screen in Fighterz, is something that just really needs to happen.

The good ol Master himself is too much an iconic character to not include in the roster for Fighterz. He’s always been a romp in the games he’s been playable in, and just is never featured enough. We’d love to see everyone’s favorite pervert flex out his muscles and kick some tail with his staff. While most characters in the series can fire off a Kamehameha, Roshi’s unique “The Original Kamehameha” still stands out as the definitive move, and deserves to make its way into the game.

And that’s our list of characters that we’d like to see in Dragon Ball Figherz! If you’re itching to give the game a shot, an open beta is coming on January 14th to the 16th for Xbox One and PS4. or if you’ve locked in a pre-order of the game, you can start a whole 24 hours early.

After the beta, the release date is right around the corner and is scheduled to drop on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on January 26th.
