The first and second DLC has been announced by Ubisoft with the first getting a release date of January 23rd. Here are 5 reasons why you should consider picking up the extended content when it releases this month.
The first DLC is a story-driven campaign that will be set four years after the events of the main game, where Bayek will be travelling back to the Sinai Peninsula. He’ll become involved in a battle between the Roman’s and a rebel faction.
If you enjoyed learning about how the Brotherhood was founded, then you’ll like to hear that Hidden Ones expands on this from the main game. You’ll learn more about how the Brotherhood was set up and the growth of it through several hours of story.
If you have hit the current level cap of 40 and want to expand further, then Hidden Ones is increasing the cap to level 45. You’ll also keep all your progress from the main game that includes your abilities, crafting level, gear, inventory etc and upgrade them from where you left off.
Along with the level cap increase, there is also going to be four new legendary weapons in the DLC and lots of other normal weapons along with a brand new outfit and two new mounts.
There’s been no word on what the actual legendary weapons are but we are assuming, a bow and a couple of the popular melee weapons.
DLC has been known to have some increases over the past year but the DLC will be free if you have picked up the Season Pass. If you have not, then it will cost you $9.99 or (£7.99 approx.) depending on the place in the world you live.
Assassin’s Creed Origins: Hidden Ones DLC is coming out on January 23rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
