ATLUS are well known for releasing multiple versions of their Persona games, and Persona 4 is no exception to this rule. In a break in tradition, the newest games in the franchise have mostly been spin-offs featuring the Investigation Team, rather than expanded re-releases of the same adventure like in previous iterations. In Persona 4 Dancing All Night, the latest addition to the Persona 4 family, the Investigation Team have wondered into the mysterious Midnight Stage, and learn they can only defeat the Shadows that lurk within by using dance moves. As you might expect, all the major characters have returned for the spin off, and each of them has a remix of a song from the original Persona 4 as their signature theme.
Yu Narukami
First out of the park is Yu, also known as the P4 Protagonist. His theme tune is Maze of Life, which appeared in Persona Q: Shadow of Labyrinth, a game where Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters met in a parallel universe
Yosuke Hanamura
Following in quick succession is Yosuke, the Protagonist’s best friend and son of the manager of the Inaba branch of Junes. His theme song is a remix of Your Affection, which plays as you wander around Inaba in the early months of Persona 4
Chie Satonaka
This feisty young woman packs a mean punch, but she has a kind heart under her bravado. Her theme is a remix of Pursing My True Self, the introduction credits song of the original Persona 4
Yukiko Amagi
The heir to the Amagi Inn may seem like a gentle flower, but she has a strong will, a fiery temper and an odd sense of humour. Her theme song is a remix of Heartbreak Heartbreak, which can also play as you wander around Inaba in Persona 4
Kanji Tatsumi
Although he may seem like a vicious guy, Kanji has a kind heart, despite his quick temper. He also has a passion for handicraft and anything fluffy. His theme song is a remix of Best Friends, the opening of the fighting game spin off Persona 4 Arena
Rise Kujikawa
An idol who is rediscovering herself after a brief break from show business, Rise serves as the navigator using her Persona abilities, although she is capable of fighting since the events of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Her theme song is the original version of Pursuing My True Self, instead of the remix that was used by Chie Satonaka.
That’s all for now, please stay tuned for the second installment of the performers guide, which will be released within the next few days. Have you decided who you will take onto the Midnight Stage from these six dancers? Let us know what you think in the comments below
