Before we delve into classes for a new semester, let’s talk about the game briefly. For those who are unaware this is Two Point Studio’s second title after Two Point Hospital, initially released in 2018. Hospital is a management sim where you build hospitals, diagnose and cure patients. As a spiritual successor to the 1997 Bullfrog Studios Theme Hospital, it carries similar comical weight when it comes to fictional patient illnesses and remedies.

So what about Two Point Campus? This title will eagerly appoint the player as a university administrator. Much like the previous title, the player’s resource management will be tested. It will also keep the important humour aspect as you offer not so typical courses to study for your students. More on that later.

Much like the previous title, the presentation is not going to be the typical fair. Two Point Studios did an outstanding job with providing humour in Hospital. It is going to be the same in Campus. Shown so far in gameplay trailers and updates, found on the official website, there are a plethora of courses for your students to study. These include, but not restricted to, Knights School, Archaeology, the art of cooking: Gastronomy, and Robotics.

There are possible others which could be revealed later. As seen in the promotional images and videos, there could be the potential of studying magic and musical endeavours. But these are just guesses. Regardless of what comes out of the wonderful minds at Two Point Studios, it is bound to be a blast!

To aid the potential of your students you will need to build all manner of facilities. You have your typical ones such as libraries, lecture halls etc. Taking this further you will have access to robotics facilities, sparring rings for knights, jousting arenas, dig sites, and alchemy labs to name a few. But what about the non academic activities? Oh boy do they have it covered! There are a variety of clubs, societies, sports, and gigs. Our favourite is the sleeping society! And that is just what has been revealed so far.

In the short video on the developer vision, the studio spoke about how the community approached using the creation tools in Hospital. In Campus they have pushed this to greater heights. With these new and improved tools the players will have greater freedom in how they construct their campus.

Unlike Hospital, Campus will allow you to plan and create outside. No longer are you confined to the buildings that the level gives you. You are given control of the entire plot to plant your own pathways and building designs. Having this expansion allows for more creativity and to hone in on greater vision for your campus.

In addition to the excellent freedom now presented to you in the newest title, you will be granted all manner of creative assets to decorate your establishment. Aside from the sleek and cool décor, why not dabble with building castles? Or delve into ancient worlds with ruins. If a sprinkle of magic and spells is you jam then wizardry visuals can create allure. Even without the themes, Campus will posses a collection of other accessories from fountains, rose bushes, statues, etc. It’s time to create your perfect campus!

During the students journey at the campus, you will become invested not only in their success but also their needs and wants. This will impact their 3 year time at the establishment. They can even develop relationships with other students. Will you be the cupid with a textbook? By investing in their needs and happiness, but also providing the academic resources for success, your students will flourish in both their classes and in the social sense.

This type of care can include aforementioned gigs, societies, and sports, but also down to food, their dorms, and the attractiveness of their environment. Oh and keeping an eye on their energy levels. Partying hard can often impact grades.
