First Crash 3 Levels Shown For Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot

Although a steady flow of videos and screenshots have been coming through the grapevine regarding Crash Bandicoot N. Sane trilogy, there has been very little information regarding the remastered version of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, the third game in the compilation. This drought ended earlier today with the arrival of several new videos, with each of them showing a level from some of the time periods visited by Crash and his sister Coco.

The first video features the level Gone Tomorrow, which takes us far into the future where Dr. Neo Cortex rules supreme. Next on the agenda is Orange Asphalt, one of the games infamous motorbike racing areas. The third level shown is Tomb Wader, which takes us deep into the booby trap filled Egyptian pyramids. Finally, Double Headder transports us back to  mediaeval England, where two-headed giants and robe wearing wizards roam the land in search of bandicoots to slay. At the present time, only two of those levels have been officially uploaded by Sony, but if this situation changes in the future, we will update this article with links to the missing footage.

The graphical majesty of the PS4 is in full force with each of these levels, showcasing all new visual effects that were only possible in the dreams of the developers back in 1998. It is fair to say that Vicarious Visions have pulled out all the stops to make this one of the most comprehensive HD remasters ever produced, and is certainly a template for other developers to follow in the future. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be released on June 30th 2017 for the PlayStation 4 by Activision. If you are interesting in seeing more about these new levels for yourself, be sure to watch the video footage which has been provided below.
