Castle Crashers Remastered Gets Release Date

The long-awaited remaster of the ever popular 2D adventure game Castle Crashers will be hitting the Xbox One download market a lot sooner than originally thought. In a statement from developers The Behemoth, Castle Crashers Remastered will be unleashed to the public on the 9th of September.

It’s been seven years since the Castle Crashers debuted online but its addictive gameplay has kept it a cult favourite overtime with many players still enjoying it to this day. Acting as a throwback to the likes of Streets of Rage (only with added RPG elements), the original game saw up to four players take on the role of different coloured knights fighting through a cartoon fantasy world full of ogres, dragons and magic. Whilst a lot of has been thrown into the mix for this new remastered version, there has been no word on wether or not there will be a release on PC or the Playstation 4.
