Milestone s.r.l. have announced MotoGP 15, the third in their MotoGP Championship series. The title will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
MotoGP 15 promises to bring more to the series than previous editions, with bike, rider, and team customisation and an enhanced career mode on the features list. As well as the 2015 MotoGP Season, the game will offer a new game mode and legendary two-stroke bikes.
The game boasts more than 100 accessories available for purchase to customize riders, bikes and more. There are 20 bike models across 3 classes, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, with 40 different liveries with official colour schemes. The player will be able to consider offers from sponsors to accept their sponsorship during races. Rider customization will allow the player to change the colour scheme of leathers to match their bike. Rider accessories such as boots, gloves and helmet (with a dedicated Helmet Editor) are on offer to personalise the rider. 3 different motorhomes (Basic, Mid-Range and Top-Range) are available to match the rider to their level of stardom.
All of the 100+ accessories and the 3 motorhomes are available right away, and can be purchased with GP Credits, a virtual currency that can be earned in any race mode, online and offline.
The new enhanced career mode will be fully integrated with the customisation features. The player starts racing as a Wild Card and will subsequently be able to choose one of the official teams participating in the 2015 championship or race with your own Private Team, taking to the track alongside the existing teams. Negotiations hinge on performance during races, meaning customisation options and resulting appearance are directly linked to your in-game objectives.
Beat the Time is the new gamemode on offer in MotoGP 15. This new mode sees players assigned a specific bike on a specific circuit. Riders from the different classes featured in the game have set records on that circuit and on that bike. The aim, simply, is to beat the time.
Other new features for MotoGP 15 include the introduction of the two-stroke bikes that made MotoGP™ history, all the teams, riders and bikes from the 2015 season, and Real Events from the 2014 season, for a complete experience.
MotoGP 15 is currently being developed at Milestone studios in Italy. It will be available in spring 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
