Originally confirmed to be out at the end of this month, the English release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD was pushed back until the early months of 2014. Whilst the Vita edition of the HD remaster was originally meant to be released as two separate titles, due to the storage capacity of the PS Vita game cards, Square Enix have now confirmed you will receive both titles under one purchase.
When you buy Final Fantasy X HD at retail, you will receive a download code for X-2, which can be redeemed and downloaded from the PlayStation Store. It is currently not confirmed if this offer will extend to the digital version of the game, but this kind of generosity is certainly welcome for new fans of the franchise, and veterans who cannot wait to play their favourite games anywhere they like.
