According to the site GamingRumours, the old mill is churning out a name for a sequel to Crytek’s Xbox one exclusive launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome.
Ryse:: Knights of England certainly sounds interesting, as a game set against the backdrop of England’s brutal war-torn past could provide a great third person action experience. When reached out for comment, Ryse developer Crytek simply responded with:
“we don’t comment on these kinds of rumours”
To add fuel to the fire, more news broke on NeoGAF that Todd Papy, Game Director of this year’s God of War: Ascension, has now been employed at Crytek as a Game Director on “an unannounced project”. While it would be nice to put two and two together an claim that Papy is now heading the design on Ryse: Knights of England, this is all conjecture and should be taken with a grain of salt, to say the least.
Do you think this is true? Would you like to see a Ryse sequel set in medieval England? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
