This is our unofficial guide for how to unlock the other game modes in Streets of Rage 4.

There are a total of three additional game modes to be found in Streets of Rage 4, one of which will be welcomed by anyone who grew up with the series when it was released back on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear.

Unlocking Arcade Mode

To unlock Arcade Mode, which allows you to play through the game using a single continue, you need to complete Story Mode at any difficulty level.

Unlocking Boss Rush Mode

To unlock Boss Rush Mode, which allows you to fight every boss in the game in a single game play session, you need to complete Story Mode at any difficulty level.

Unlocking Stage Select Mode

To unlock Stage Select Mode, which allows you to choose to play through any stage of the game, you need to complete Story Mode at any difficulty level.
