Wheelchair Bound Gamer Banned From Twitch.TV By Faking Disability

A wheelchair bound gamer by the name of ZilianOP was hosting a livestream on his account on Twitch.Tv. During the broadcast of the stream he was requesting donations to go towards his disability. In mid stream however the entire fan base that was watching him live was shocked after he stands up from his wheel chair and proceeds to walk around the room. Don’t believe it? Well here is the footage from the livestream:

Angel “ZilianOP” Hamilton’s girlfriend Breanna/ “Panthoria”, who regularly streams along side him, is heard saying ‘oh my god’, as if it were code. The young man took it upon himself to tilt his camera away from his wheelchair upon returning to the stream.

Both the accounts of Zilian and his girlfriend have been banned by Twich.Tv due to “terms of service violatioins”.

A Twitch spokesman told Kotaku this about the situation:

“The Twitch broadcaster, Zilianop, did indeed have his channel closed and his partnership contract terminated on the basis of fraud”. “Moving forward, we’ll be offering refunds to those who subscribed to his channel through Twitch. We have zero tolerance for this type of behavior and the character demonstrated in this situation is truly reprehensible.”

“His actions are a huge slap in the face to Twitch community members with real disabilities such as Aieron, and groups such as AbleGamers, who have helped spread a message of inclusiveness and positivity to not only the Twitch community, but gaming as a whole.”

The entire accounts activites have been logged on Diablowned, where it is recorded that Hamilton raised $20,000 while operating the channel. The money has been said to have been spent on various electronic items, a $2000 wheelchair and $5000 to move house and live nearer to his girlfriend.

Chat logs during the stream show that the couple were trying to cover up the incident and explain the apparently ‘true’ situation to the viewers.

Hamilton said that his dog had knocked over his water bowl over on some wiring, causing him to just about manage standing and then proceed to ‘fall over’.

He explained by saying “I pushed off my chair and ate it”.

His girlfriend the proceeded to explain that Hamilton had been undergoing physiotherapy to regain some control of his lower half, though did remain paralysed.
