Even before E3 2016 has begun there has been a plethora of announcements, teases and rumours that have kept players busy all over social media. With this edition of VGU Talks, I bring up my opinions on most of the reveals so far and give my two  cents on which things stand out more than others.

When it comes to pre-E3 reveals in general, I can’t say that I agree. Yes, it is hard to promote your new title or expansion at the show unless you are at a big conference or find a good slot to release your trailer against all the others trailers looking for release. But there is something magical about revealing something during E3 that could stand the test of time. Huge announcements already such as Injustice 2 and Battlefield 1 has taken the community at large by storm, but has it left us waiting for information or game footage that we are simply not going to get? The biggest worry is seeing one of these announcement trailers showcased again during the E3 conferences, literally consisting of filler segments within a show of what should be new and interesting releases.
