The Platinum  Demo for Final Fantasy XV is available now for PS4 and Xbox One as players are able to try out the games core mechanics before it’s release on September 30th. But today I take a moment to go over my thoughts on the demo as well as my concerns.

As much as the demo does a great job with showcasing the technology in this game, it does fall flat with showing off the weapon variants. As well as this, the magic system seems to be based around consumable items now rather than using mana as a resource. However this can be up for debate as Noctis uses his mana for other mechanics. I hope that at least one character in the team will have a standard use of magic similar to former Final Fantasy titles.
