VGU News – Civilization VI, Kojima’s New Game & Disney Closures

Welcome to this weeks edition of VGU News. The following news pieces were brought up in the video  and can be read in full on their appropriate pages.

Battlefield 1 has been revealed with a trailer showcasing in-engine footage as well as the release date.

Pokemon Sun & Moon has an official release date for November and has had the starter Pokemon revealed.

Firaxis reveales that Civilization VI will be released in October of this year, introducing more advances in the series technology.

Hideo Kojima has revealed that his company, Kojima  Productions, is working on a AAA Action game that will rival the likes of Uncharted and The Division.

Disney, after reviewing  recent sales figures, has decided to close Avalanche Studios and discontinue Disney Infinity. In response, game companies on twitter have come out saying that they are saddened and hiring.
