When people think of undead characters in video games, it is rare that they think of vampires instead of zombies. DontNod Entertainment are looking to turn this trend around with their latest action role playing game set in the  outbreak of Spanish Flu that took place in London in 1918. The player takes on the role of Jonathan Reid, a young doctor who is changed into a vampire. During the game, Jonathan must learn to deal with his new transformation, as well as make the choice between honouring his oath to protect human life, or becoming a blood thirsty monster that desires only to feed.

Vampyr is currently set to be released in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
