A new Yu-Gi-Oh title is making its way to PS4 and Xbox One this summer. Legacy of the Duelist brings with it a collection of old and new to satisfy both old players of the card game and new players. For one it is introducing a fully fleshed out story mode that will go through the events of the original Yu-Gi-Oh series all the way up to the events of Zexal. For anyone who is already a fan of the new series, Arc-V, don’t worry as characters and cards from this series will also play a part. That’s right, we now have pendulum summoning to coexist along with Synchro, XYZ and Fusion summoning.

Legacy of the Duelist will also feature a new draft format mode for offline and online play. This will allow players to face off against one another using battle packs from the trading card game and construct decks on the fly. This is the game mode that can make or break the game as it truly challenges fans of the series as well as adds a new experience for new players.
