PREY, History of the TranStar Trailer
The History of TranStar trailer is a cartoon-esqe animated trailer which goes through the backstory of the world in Prey.
Prey, the spiritual successor to the cult classic video game that was released on the Xbox 360 is set in a different future. President Kennedy survives the assassination and sets of a pressured pursuit to make it into space by taking control of the US and Russia joint space program which creates a R&D facility in space. After 3 decades of failed attempts by the US Government, the station is abandoned and bought by a commercial organisation, TranStar who rebuilds it as Talos 1. They are able to successfully use alien DNA to reshape the way humans work giving them special abilities akin to the aliens they found over 30 years ago.
Prey, sets off after the main character Morgan Yu awakens to find the station overrun by Typhon. Aided with alien-based powers, Morgan needs to survive the takeover and save humanity from impending doom. The game takes on a much different direction from the original with a completely different storyline and setting but we look forward to seeing what it can bring.
Prey is set to be released sometime in 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
