French publisher Ubisoft has confirmed that they are delaying Watch Dogs on Wii U.

It is unknown how long this delay is for, but it doesn’t affect the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One or PC versions of the game. Still set to come out Q2 this year, Wii U users will have to wait longer to play Ubisoft’s next big thing.

In a statement to Videogamer, a Ubisoft representative had this to say:

“We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft”

No reason for the delay has been given, but we will update the story as more info is available.
