The ICO (Information Commissioners Office) recently tweeted that Sony has confirmed that they will not be appealing the £250,000 penalty after the "serious DPA breach" in 2011, despite Sony claiming that they would fully appeal the breach as it was a "focused and determined criminal attack" on their system.
