Rome 2 Total War: Plans After Release

 A post on the Total War Forums by the developer of Rome 2 : Total War will have the fan base in awe as The Creative Assembly announce their plans to follow up the release with several new batches of content rapidly after release. 

Due out in October the Nomadic Tribes Culture Pack will be brought into play, introducing the Scythians, Roxolani and Massagetae as playable factions for an as of yet unknown price. Futhermore at around the same time The Selucid Empire is set for release as a playable faction for free, to the excitement of fans of the old Rome game. 

 

We already know that the Greek Culture Pack will launch with all Rome 2 Pre-Orders as well as a free DLC to play as Pontus. On top of this The Creative Assembly are not leaving the modding community in the dark and have introduced massive modding support, much like in Total War: Shogun 2. 

Updates are expected to regular according to CA, with patches brought to the AI, compatibility issues, multiplayer balancing and more. 

 

These changes will show CA’s dedication to providing a massive and thrilling game at launch and wish for it succeed by rapidly following up with several interesting DLC’s.
