Hitman Go To Launch Next Week

Square Enix Montreal have today announced that their new mobile Hitman title, Hitman Go, will be available from April 17th on iOS. An Android version of the game is set to launch shortly after, but is yet to have a fixed date.

Hitman Go is a diorama-style turn-based strategy game, in which you will have to strategically navigate spaces on a grid to avoid enemies, take out targets and infiltrate locations. Hitman Go will feature 68 levels at launch with more on the way in future updates, and will go for £2.99/$4.99. The game will also be available to play at PAX East this weekend, and will be demoed by the game’s creative director.

The team describe Hitman Go as a game that captures the essence of the Hitman franchise, while remaining entirely separate. They aimed, above all else, to create a fun, enjoyable title that would surprise the market by being something different and unexpected.
