One of the few minor drawbacks of the Nintendo Switch is that you cannot charge the system whilst using it in Tabletop Mode. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

This unlikely crossover proved to be a smash hit when it arrived last August. Take control of Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi to rescue a whole host of crazy Rabbids, whilst dealing with a few that are curiously helping out on your side. The X-Com style gameplay is perfect for portable play, as well as sitting at home on the TV using the two player Co-Op campaign, or it’s recently added multiplayer battle mode.

Although you can control every Nintendo Switch game using the Joy Con controllers included with the system, there are some player who prefer the traditional control set up seen on other consoles. The Pro Controller satisfies that need, with bigger analog sticks, larger face buttons and the HD Rumble functionality seen in the system’s default control scheme. If you play some of the more intensive platformers or RPG’s, the Pro Controller is an essential purchase for your new system.

The Nintendo Switch has a great catalogue of games available to buy in stores, but some of the hidden gems can be found through it’s digital store front. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

From it’s initial release back in the early 90’s, the Mario Kart series has proven to be a welcome addition to any gaming party.
