SK Telecom T1 and Royal Club Reach the Finals of the League of Legends Championship

The semi-finals of the League of Legends World Championships were drawn to a close yesterday with South Korea’s SK Telecom T1 and China’s Royal Club scrapping their way to the finals.

Semi-Final 1:

Telecom T1 fought against rival Korean team Najin Black Sword which could not have been any closer with the best of 5 series ending in Telecom’s favor 3-2.
Each match was full of total bloodbaths and close run skirmishes. Telecom’s determination seemed to pull them through in the end with some brilliant individual plays by Telecom’s Faker mid lane escapes as Ahri and play making ultimate’s with Orianna.

Semi-Final 2:

Europe’s Team Fanatic gave it their all against China’s Club Royal, but Royal’s attack-damage carry, UZI simply gave too much power potential to their team, giving Fanatic little room to make massive plays with the series ending 3-1 to Royal Club.

These incredibly entertaining semi-finals ended with an Asia based finals with SK Telecom T1 and Royal Club preparing themselves for the grand finals held Friday 4th October.
