Rock Band has a fairly impressive back catalogue of downloadable songs, unfortunately though this seems to be dropping in size as songs are now leaving the Rock Band Store. At the end of next month a chunk of this catalogue will have disappeared, the full list being as follows:
Leaving 28th August:
- T.Rex – Bang a Gong (Get It On) (Cover)
Leaving 30th September:
- The Janitors – Get Your Rock On
- Locksley – All Over Again
- Locksley – Don’t Make Me Wait
- Locksley – She Does
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Snow ((Hey Oh))
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Tell Me Baby
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Apache Rose Peacock
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Blood Sugar Sex Magik
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Breaking the Girl
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Funky Monks
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – The Greeting Song
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – I Could Have Lied
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – If You Have to Ask
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Mellowship Slinky in B Major
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – My Lovely Man
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Naked in the Rain
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – The Power of Equality
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – The Righteous and The Wicked
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Sir Psycho Sexy
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Suck My Kiss
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – They’re Red Hot
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Under the Bridge
In addition the following songs will leave the store at some point after September 30th:
- Locksley 01
- Blood Sugar Sex Magik (album)
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Under the Bridge (pro)
This is a rather large number of songs to be leaving the store, so if you have any interest in them it is recommended to go and grab them as soon as you can. The songs leaving the store is almost certainly due to licenses running out and not a space saving manoeuvre.
How do you feel that the Rock Band Store song list is getting smaller? Does it upset you that you won’t be able to get any of these songs any more soon? Let us know how you feel in the comments.
