The Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship came to a close recently as Shin En Huang from Taiwan won with his Dragon Rulers deck. He was up against David J. Keener III of the USA who was playing with his Prophecy deck.
The new king of games will be awarded the “Grandopolis, The Eternal Golden City” card whilst Mr. Second Place along with Weerapun Suebyoubol of Thailand and Hiromi Kudou of Japan will receive the “E Hero Pit Boss” card.
As well as the winners of the World Championships, there were also the winners of the Dragon Duels Format. Oliver S. Tomajko of the USA won the format with yet another Dragon Rulers deck as he defeats Mao Goto, also running Dragon Rulers. He also receives the “Grandopolis, The Eternal Golden City” card as the other participants Mao Goto, Marco Jossue Ruiz and Niels Kuhnberger received “E Hero Pit Boss” card.
Although it is great to see another Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship come to a close, this has sent out an uproar amongst the majority of the community. Will the uproar cause Konami to potentially cripple the Dragon Rulers deck or even ban the majority of the cards? Only time can tell at this point.
So what do you think about the YCS winners? Do you think Dragon Rulers should be looked into by Konami? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
