First up we have an official release date for the game, Monster Hunter 4 will be coming out September 14th for 5990 Yen (~£40 and ~$60). It will be released with two limited edition 3DS xL consoles as you can see below!
Some good news for Monster Hunter fans is that due to Capcom’s financial results for the past quarter have coming in recently and showing that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate has had tremendous global success, Capcom will be heavily focusing promotional efforts on Monster Hunter 4 globally! Capcom has also decided to shorten development times, reduce outsourcing, and focus on restructuring development methods to make the game the best it can be.
To top this all off, a new trailer has been released, showing that some old enemies have made a return in Monster Hunter 4 with a few new monster ready to shake things up as well…
Looks like Hunters are going to be in for one hell of a fight…
If we are lucky, with Capcom now realising how popular the Monster Hunter series is we may even see Monster Hunter Online be released outside of China. It’s just a thought but hey, with the rising success and quality of the series (With Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate being pretty awesome) it is seeming more and more likely to happen!
