The new date applies to the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X, PS4 and Xbox One but the Switch version still has yet to be given any release date.

The game is set in the 1800’s at Hogwarts, so don’t expect to run into your favourite characters from the morning, baring the ghosts and maybe some other long lived characters. You also take on the mantle of your witch or wizard a little later in the school year as a fifth year where you can learn some more advanced magic and also uncover some ancient magic only you seem to be able to use.
