505 Games have announced a brand new IP which will be coming to Playstation 3’s Network, Xbox 360’s Xbox Live and Steam via PC.

The new IP will be featuring a deep crafting system, with a unique survival guide and a number of different playable characters. How to Survive throws players on a remote archipelago off the coast of Colombia in the aftermath of an unexplained accident which causing you to not be completely alone, you guessed it zombies.

To survive you must first attend to your basic needs such as food, water and shelter and then start crafting tools and weapons from a simple fishing rood to a fiery Molotov cocktails. Players will also be able to team up with other players in both local and online multiplayer through the story mode and challenge modes to tackle numerous infected.

How to Survive is being developed by EKO Studios and is due for release this Autumn.
