This page contains a list of the Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Codes for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One (XOne) version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Cheats in Red Dead Redemption 2 work a little different from Rockstar’s other hit franchise Grand Theft Auto. Unlike a mix of mashing different buttons on the keypad, Red Dead Redemption 2 are words and phrases found in the world.
There’s more than 30 different spoke cheats you can find and can activate a number of different things like never running out of ammo and spawning horses.
How to enter cheat codes in RDR2
To enter the cheat codes you need to pause the game, select settings and then press trinagle or Y depending on your console to enter the Cheats Menu.
You can then enter the code from the list below and you should see a message confirming your cheat has been unlocked. If you save the game you will not need to enter the cheat code again but you can toggle the cheats on and off in the Cheats Menu.
Cheat codes might have requirements
Some cheats do have some requirements you need to meet before you can activate them. The most common one is purchasing newspapers after certain chapters and missions have been completed.
These newspapers are what have the actual cheat codes hidden in them and you must have them in your inventory when you type in the code into the Cheats Menu otherwide you will not be able to unlock it or activate it.
Any cheats below which are in BOLD mean that you can use them at any time without the need for newspapers.
