The Evolution Championship Series originally would have featured eight official titles for players to fight with, however, now the lineup has now been expanded to nine, NetherRealm Studio’s latest fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us has joined the fray! Its not all good news however as some fans were upset since the games inclusion came really out of nowhere after the tournament’s roster was first revealed.
Wizard went on to say that that top Injustice placers at the remaining Road to EVO events will receive the same seeding points as finalists in the other official titles. They will also be allowing stage interactables and transitions, and testers will not be barred from competition, which is surprising as these elements can be easily abused.
Injustice: Gods Among Us players now get a chance to see their game be a part of the biggest fighting game tournament in the world!
