Plays of Titanfall 2 will gain access to a brand new Titan and map for the game’s multiplayer mode on May 30th, 2017. Respawn have said on their blog that those additions and much of the content of Titanfall 2 will be free.

The new Titan comes as part of the next week’s update titled Monarch and Respawn have described the Titan as a “mid-range Vanguard class Titan that can upgrade itself through her unique upgrade core”.

Monarch can also recharge her shield by drawing energy from enemy Titans on the battlefield. You can watch Monarch in action in the gameplay trailer below.

Titanfall 2’s next update will bring in a new map called Relic which is a remake of the Titanfall map of the same name in the original game.

The free multiplayer map which has come over from Titanfall makes players fight among the wreckage of a massive IMC carrier between two town areas. More information on what is included in the update ca be found on the Respawn website.
