Bethesda Release Extended Prey Narrated Gameplay Trailer
Bethesda have released today a new extended gameplay trailer for Prey, the next title by Dishonored 2 developer Arkane Studios.
Prey looks to blend simulation and narration together, where Bethesda are pushing as a “carefully crafted world” where you are free to play as you want. You can watch the new gameplayer trailer above with a voiceover from Raphael Colantonio who is Creative Director and Ricardo Bare the Lead Designer.
Prey is all about waking up on Talos 1, a space station that is orbiting the moon in 2032 and it pretty much deserted when you come to. As the main character you have been apart of human experimentations with an alien entity the government has had locked up for a long time. Now you need to gig around and uncover the secrets of Talos I, including your own past and use the tools around the space station to survive being hunted by the alien creatures. In previous demos, Prey has shown how being spliced with the alien creature allows you to use some of their abilities, one of them being shapeshifting with scenes showing the protagonist turns into a cup to get past a locked door.
Prey is coming out sometime in 2017 with the exact date yet to be announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can look for more info on the Prey website, including pre-order details.
