The ESL UK Premiership this summer is set to be the biggest yet with a prize pool currently totalling £34,000.
With three offline finals events planned for October at this years MCM Expo in London, there will be plenty of time to see Riot’s League of Legends eSports tournaments at the show. Riot are further supporting the UK eSports scene by selecting the winner of this seasons ESL Premiership to take their skills to the EU Challenger Series Qualifier.
The last team to win a place Challenger Series Qualifier through the ESL Premier ship where the former Renegades: Banditos who secured their place in the EU Challenger Series. Renegades: Banditos who are now known as Misfits recently won the EU LCS promotion and the newest team to qualify for the EU LCS.
Since 2016, UK Premiership, ESL UK’s flagship event has seen great growth in viewership and participation increasing exposure for the UK eSports scene. This has attracted over 2 million online spectators and over 2000 gamers have taken part from all over Great Britain and Ireland.
