Steam strategy card game, Faeria will be free to play next weekend from June 16th – 19th. While the free weekend is running there will be discounts of up to 50% on all their Early Access packages.

Players will be able to download and access the game for free during the weekend period and join over 27,000 others to play against.  Those looking to get the core set or boosters packs will still have to pay during the event through in-game gold or real money.

Emilien Eloy,  Abrakam’s Marketing Director explains,

Once Faeria’s free steam weekend is over, players will need to buy an Early Access pack to continue playing. If you choose not get a pack straight away your progress such as your accounts, booster pack purchases etc will be saved either way. Basic access to the game will be 30% off over the weekend with the Early Access Bundle seeing 50% off which includes booster packs and other goodies. From September the game will then go completely free-to-play.
