Well, with Guilty Gear Xrd finally getting a European release next week, Arc System Works have conveniently announced their first piece of additional content for the gamer, titled -REVELATOR-. This new installment adds two additional characters to the game, including series veteran Johnny, the Jellyfish Pirate captain and a brand new fighter. So far, we only have a silhouette of the mysterious new combatant but we will learn of their identity soon, as location tests for -REVELATOR- start next weekend in Japan.

Along with these two fighters, Arc System Works have promised a plethora of balance changes to the core game, as well as a brand new control scheme called Stylish Mode. This mode will be like ones found in BlazBlue and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, where the controls are simplified so complete newbies can do some flashy combos without having to learn the complex inputs. While it will not impact the Guilty Gear competitive scene at all, at least this simplified control scheme allows very casual players to get the thrill of pulling off combos, before they hit the lab and learn how to do them for real.

No news on a release date as of yet but we will no doubt have more news once the location tests have concluded.
