Sony originally launched the Playstation TV, known as the PS Vita TV in some countries, as a companion device for the current generation of both portable and home gaming systems. As well as allowing PS4 games to be streamed from one room to another, it also allows you to play a significant majority of Vita games on a TV screen, from either the official game cards or storage media.
The recommended retail price of the hardware was originally £84.99, but to encourage people to support their product, Sony have today reduced this guideline to £44.99. Although it is a shame to see such a competent product have it’s price altered so quickly, the features offered by the device offer significant value for money, as long as you have a Dual Shock 3 or Dual Shock 4 to use as a controller.
