OSome Studio, a French indie developer has announced the release of their narrative based survival horror White Night. By luring players in with gripping tension and mystery they say White Night is going back to the roots with the old-school style the genre was built on.
You will be alone and stranded, in what should be an abandoned mansion but as you explore you will soon realise you are not as alone as you think. Light and darkness play a key role in the game and one of the main mechanics, graphically it is also in black and white and you must use what little light you have to uncover new paths, secrets and more story to help you uncover the mystery. Light is also used as a safe haven from what threatens to get you.
White Night is available now on PC, Mac and Linux via Steam and is also available today (March 4th) on PlayStation 4 via PSN and Xbox One on March 6th.
