In more news from today’s Nintendo Direct, the New Nintendo 3DS will launch in North America and Europe on the 13th of February. The XL version will only be sold in the USA, while Europe will get both the standard New 3DS as well as the XL. The XL will come in black and blue, with there being 12 removable faceplates at launch to purchase.
No news on UK pricing as of yet, but the US models are currently retailing for $200. The New 3DS will offer ZL and ZR buttons, a C stick, a new ‘Super Stable 3D’ function, along with removal faceplates to customise your handheld, a faster processor, quicker load times and the ability to play certain games like the portable version of Xenoblade Chronicles.
