Electronic Art’s new subscription based service “EA Access” has officially left beta and rolled out earlier this week for the Xbox One.
EA Access is a subscription service where users can get special access to EA’s current and upcoming games. Subscribers can access “The Vault” where a select number of EA’s titles can be played for “free.” The vault currently contains Battlefield 4, Peggle 2, FIFA 14, and Madden 25. Along with the vault is a 10% digital discount for purchases on EA titles. Finally, EA Access members can play new games up to 5 days before release for a “limited time.”
EA Access is currently $4.99/£3.99 for a month, and $29.99/£19.99 for a year.
What are your thoughts on EA Access? Do you prefer the subscription based Xbox One service, Or PlayStation 4’s “PlayStation Now?”
