The Xbox One version of Titanfall currently does not run at 1080p. Respawn Entertainment community manager Abbie Heppe wrote on the Titanfall Blog that the game runs native at 792p in its beta form, but could be closer to 900p at launch next month.
792p is not a standard resolution which can be upscaled to 1080p depending on output settings of the console, which many other games can do.
Titanfall’s frame rate is unknown, though producer Drew McCoy told Eurogamer last summer that “frame rate is king.”.
Titanfall’s beta launches this Friday for Xbox One and PC, with the sign-up open now. The full release for Xbox One and PC will be on March 11 and March 25 for Xbox 360.
