An interview with Dark Souls II co-director, Yui Tanimura, reveals that the developer has not yet thought about next-gen versions of the game.
“We have not put any thought into this yet, so I unfortunately can’t answer at this point,” Tanimura replied to Edge as they asked what it would take to bring a more graphically advance PC version of Dark Souls II to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Last year, Tanimura admitted that the PC version of Dark Souls was “half-assed” and promise this mistake wouldn’t be repeated with the upcoming sequel.
Dark Souls II will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 11, 2014 in North America and March 14, 2014 in Europe.
