Fans of Marvel’s web slinging superhero will be pleased to learn that earlier today, the latest video game adaption of Spider Man has reached gold status. For anyone who is not aware, going gold is when the game’s development has reached it’s conclusion and the final code is sent to be printed onto discs by the publisher, or distributed to online stores for the intended release date.

In addition to this news, Sony have revealed that a limited edition PS4 Pro bundle will be released on the same day as the new game, with an exclusive console and controller design that will not be available separately. To make things even more exciting, the bundle will also include a copy of the Standard edition of the game.
