E3 2018: Fortnite Launches on the Nintendo Switch

There were rumours flying about before E3 2018 started but it has not been confirmed that Unreal’s Battle Royale title, Fortnite is coming to the Nintendo Switch and is available straight away from 10 AM PT / 6 PM BST on June 12th, 2018.

During Nintendo Direct, the battle royale version of the game which has seen a lot of success was announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch but without the other full game mode. What was more unexpected was that the game would be released the very same day and would be free (with in-app purchases).

It makes sense for the Fortnite to come to the Switch considering it is already available on most platforms like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android. It also means you now have a wide range of choice to play the game if you have not before.

So go forth to the Nintendo eShop and download the title for free, no codes or purchases needed.
