E3 2018: First Demo Footage Of Spyro Reignited Trilogy Revealed

Spyro Reignited Trilogy

After the initial teaser trailer was shown earlier this year, fans of Spyro the Dragon were eager to see the first live gameplay footage of Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The developers of the remastered collection, Toys For Bob, revealed that the game would be present at E3 with a gameplay demo showcasing two of the levels from the first game in the Spyro series. True to their word, Spyro Reignited Trilogy was showcased during YouTube’s Live @ E3 livestream, and showed the first live gameplay directly from a PS4 Pro console.

The first level included in the demo is Toasty, the first boss level from the original Spyro the Dragon. The second level which was shown is Treetops, one of the most difficult levels in the entire Spyro trilogy. Both of the remastered levels, with their enhanced graphics and butter smooth frame rate, show the love and attention that has gone into recreating the Spyro the Dragon games for modern platforms.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 21st, 2018. If you are interested in finding out more about the game, be sure to stay tuned to VGU for more E3 2018 news, and be sure to watch the live footage of the demo that has provided below via a third party upload from CrystalBlazier.
