Everyone loves a free game and The Darkness II is currently free for a limited time over at the Humble Bundle website.

Humble Bundle is known for their cheap bundle of titles where you “pay what you want” usually needing to match the current average price at the time to secure all of the titles.

The Darkness II is the follow-up from the previous game which is based on the comic book by  Top Cow Productions, Inc and is a first-person shooter with a supernatural element. Jackie Estacado is the protagonist and the head of a major crime family who is the owner of an ancient evil known as The Darkness.

The second game followed the tales of Jackie two years after the events of the first game, where he used The Darkness to get revenge on the people who killed his girlfriend. Since he has been unable to shake the death of Jenny, keeping the supernatural evil at bay and now it wants out.
