The development of Ni No Kuni II might have lasted a little longer than we were expecting, but you can rest assured that LEVEL-5 will have been ensuring that the game will be everything that fans of the series have waited for. Earlier today, the game’s publisher Bandai Namco have released an exclusive video which showcases the first fifteen minutes of the finished game. As well as laying the foundations for an epic story, we get to see the new real-time battle system in action, as well as meet young king in the making Evan, his mysterious new guardian Roland and a host of evil rodents intent on taking over his kingdom.

Needless to say, there are major spoilers for the beginning of Ni No Kuni II in this video, but if you are willing to look past this, you are certainly in for a magical experience. Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released on March 23rd 2018 for PlayStation 4 by Level 5.
