After it was initially released for the PlayStation Vita last year, Tokyo Xanadu was praised as one of the handheld’s best RPG’s. Praised as a combination of Trails of Cold Steel and Atlus’s Persona series, it was rumoured that the game would receive a home console release. This rumour was confirmed to be true when Nihon Falcom announced that the game would receive an expanded port for PS4 and PC.
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is now available to purchase as a digital only release in Europe. It features updated 4K graphics, new additional story paths and new characters to use during battle. The game focuses on a young man named Kou Tokisaka, whose world is turned upside down when he enters a parallel world known as the Eclipse. He gains the ability to fight the monsters that plague this mysterious location, and together with his friends and allies must put a stop to a powerful evil which threatens to emerge from it’s depths.
Tokyo Xanadu ex+ is now available for PS4 via the PlayStation Store and PC via Steam. If you are interested in finding out more about the game, be sure to visit the official page on Nihon Falcom’s website, and watch the launch trailer that has been provided below.
