The long-awaited iPhone X will be available for customers to pre-order from October 27th at 8:01 am from the Apple Store app and on the Apple website.
iPhone X Design and Specs
Featuring a brand new design with what Apple is calling an “all-screen” display all glass and stainless steel design houses a 5.8-inch display with a Super Retina technology. The iPhone X internals fits an A11 Bionic chip with a neural engine for machine learning, augmented reality and powerful gaming capabilities.
With wireless charging and Face ID there are new ways to be able to authenticate your purchases and buy games and other apps within the AppStore. Their latest camera tech looking to bring Portrait Lighting to the front camera and is able to analyse over 50 different facial muscles that can use Animoji, bringing emojis to life.
On the back, dual optical stabilisation includes a colour filter, more pixels and an improved image signal processor for improved images captured.
For the more protective iPhone owners, Apple has also mentioned the glass back is their most durable yet and will come in two different finishes, space grey and silver. So hopefully it can stand a few knocks without cracking.
iPhone X Pricing and Availability
The iPhone X will be available in two different models a 64GB version and a massive 256GB version with them starting at £999. You can buy them through the Apple AppStore or through a reseller such as Carphone Warehouse. Prices may vary**
Customers in the UK can also use the iPhone Upgrade Programme to trade in their old smartphone for up to £440 in cred towards the cost of the new iPhone X.
Pre-orders will start from October 27 for the UK and 54 other countries and territories. The official leather folio case for the iPhone X will also be available in a range of colours costing £99, silicone cases are also available in a range of colours starting from £39.
Any customer who buys an iPhone X from Apply will also be offered a free personal setup in-store and online to help setting up their email, showing new apps and the overall basics of using the device.
