Folks have been speculating ever since Nintendo announced that an Animal Crossing title would be hitting the mobile marketplace sometime in the near future. Thankfully, the rumors are about to end, because this Wednesday there will be an official Nintendo Direct on the matter.

This Direct will hopefully clear some of the fog around the title, giving us all some updated information to hold onto. And if we’ve been really good this year, maybe we’ll even get a release date.
